GEORGE GORDON FIRST NATION
George Gordon First Nation is located in the Aspen Parkland eco-region of Saskatchewan, 8 km south of the village of Punnichy and 125 km northeast of the City of Regina. The total land area of the reserve is 145 square kilometres.

The population of George Gordon is considerably younger and growing more quickly than that of the region and province as a whole. The community is home to two Aboriginal languages: Plains Cree and Saulteaux.

The settlement includes 224 houses with a further 40 ready-to-move units under construction. Other community facilities include an administration centre, arena, baseball diamonds and soccer fields, computer centre, daycare, health clinic, buffalo ranch, wellness and recovery centre, senior's centre, church and youth centre.

Band administration accounts for most of the employment in the community though a number of band member owned businesses are in operation and do employ many community members. The band has a deep pool of human resources and skills.
